Our Milling Process

At Texas Best Organics, we strive to provide the best organic rice products available in the market today. Our 6,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art milling facility was developed with only the highest standards in mind. Our newest mill, the largest certified producer of exclusively organic rice in the country, incorporates several steps.

First, cleaning machines ensure that dust-free rough rice is fed to the mill. After the thorough cleaning process, rubber sheller rolls gently dehusk the rice kernels. Paddy machines then separate brown rice from paddy rice and the paddy rice is fed to the most modern multi-break vertical polishers available. A friction water polisher then gives a smooth and shiny surface to the kernels before sifting machines remove any broken pieces. The rice then goes to color sorting where five modules of the most advanced all-digital equipment ensure the most efficient sorting of our products.
